Life is like a library owned by the author. In it are a few books which she wrote herself, but most of them were written for her. Leading me to say, the best asset anyone can have is to have someone believe in her. I say no one can contest to that.

Designer and Project Runway star Michael Kors recently pacified representatives of The Humane Society of the United States by agreeing to stop using raccoon dog fur in his clothing lines. But Kors is still turning a blind eye to the suffering of the countless other animals he still uses for their fur. His recent action won't result in the deaths of fewer animals-just different animals.

Many top designers, including Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Marc Bouwer, and Kenneth Cole, have chosen to take a compassionate stand and rid their lines of fur-or have never used fur at all. There is no reason for Michael Kors not to do the same.

PETA has met with Kors' team-including his head designer-and shown them a video that reveals the horrific suffering endured by animals used for fur, but Kors also needs to hear from you. Please take a moment to politely ask him to do the truly compassionate thing and remove all fur from his designs.

Animals are simply not ours to wear. For PETA's free guide to compassionate clothing, please visit FurIsDead.com.

For animals,
Louise
